Check Generator Oil and replace filters on Cat 53 task card

Lay absorbent pads / rags under engines.

Start engine, let idle 2�3 minutes, then turn of

warm up engines for 5�10 minutes at idle (oil flows out easier when warm, not hot)

Remove old oil filter with wrench.

Check gasket face is clean (old O-ring not stuck).

Lightly oil the O-ring of new filter.

Spin on new filter

Insert extractor hose into dipstick tube, pump until it is empty.

Pour fresh oil (about 6.5 L), using funnel.

Check Levels and complete

Log hours and dates

Wipe engine bay clean, remove rags and pads.
